Hello everyone!
we have been doing lots of things in Art, including making creatures with clay, making a stop motion, flip books, etc. For the stop motion film my group and I (Lita, Shawn, Me) picked a topic on Poseidon fighting Tangaroa for a piece of land. we sketched out some of the characters on paper and brain stormed the development of some of the characters, we are still thinking of the scenery but i have some ideas like a underwater town and a shipwreck.
Our teacher assigned us to make a little minion out of the clay we had. this is what they looked like
my Minion was the one at the back with its hand up :)
We also had to make a brain storm on manaakitanga including stuff like what it means and how to express kindness towards everyone. 
when we started making flip books we made our own kind of short animation/topic and added a sequence of drawings that match a movement that create a little animation. The animation was created by someone flicking the book with their thumb or finger, my flip book was about a heart turning into someones eye crying.
